About the Christmas Star

Big eight-point stars in red and green, separated by sashing and small cornerstones. Each star is made from half-square triangles and flying geese. Both are sewn oversize and trimmed back to size, so the points come out sharp even if your quarter inch drifts a little. The blocks are large, so a throw only needs a handful of them. That makes it a realistic project to start in November and finish before the holidays.
